Here is my very first Kanzashi flower:
Kanzashi are traditionally Japanese hair ornaments, but they definitely lend their use to all kinds of craft embellishments. :) Diane Gilleland has written a book about them that I am currently coveting, and I think making these could become very addictive!
You don’t need to buy the book to try making one, as Diane has made a great video tute:
But I sense buying the book would give you some really great options, and I want it!

Good job! I tried making these flowers unsuccessfully until I found Gillelands book. They are fun to do and so many uses for them.
