This is something that my kids and I have been involved in for the past couple of years – it’s a fantastic lesson in giving to others, and they always have fun trying to find neat things to give at the local $2 store. :)
Now is the time to be thinking about doing this, so that kid’s all around the world can get a wee gift this Christmas. It doesn’t cost much, but it’s a totally worthwhile experience. Our old church used to make a big party of making up the boxes together! Not sure how we will do it this year, but it’s sure to be fun!
This gives new meaning to the term “packed in like sardines”!

Still getting on with the moving in at the new house, am loving living in Pukekohe. Hope is loving her new school. Briahna has been sick most of this week, but today it looks like the antibiotics are working – so it’s off to school for her tomorrow! Aimee’s taxi starts on Monday. So next week it’s time to work on getting the craft room right. :D

I made them so long ago (March, last year) that I’d almost lost hope that they’d ever be “famous”. Like it had all been just a dream when I’d been asked to make them! Yet, here they are in amongst the crowd of finger puppets. Thanks, Mr Sew-Funky for finding them.
