Cloth Patterns

January 2010

I have been designing my own cloth patterns since January 2008 when I adapted a pattern I’d found on the internet into what I aptly named the “circular saw“.  Since then I’ve designed quite a few, and had some of them published in an american dishcloth calendar for both 2009 and 2010.

In June 2009 my mother passed away and so for the past 6 months I haven’t felt very inspired to design much of anything!  But, here I find myself in a new year with the ability to start over, and I’m already planning out new designs in mind for budding cloth knitters out there on the web…

So keep your eye’s peeled for more sewfunky designs!

I’ve now added a page so that you can easily access my free patterns! WOOHOO!

I want to make the May 2009 “Pretty Frilly Cloth”. Row 46 is listed twice = should that be row 48? I had almost half the pattern made and noticed that the second wedge was turned the wrong direction. I took it out row by row but could not find where I had made a mistake. I am going to try again because I look the way the first wedge looks when completed. If that is suspposed to be Row 48, then I start with Row 1 right after that, correct?
Thanks for you help and your blog is great! I just found it last week.
