At my house today…

I’m giving away a copy of New Moon on DVD over on my facebook page – head on over to enter!

I’m folding copious amounts of laundry!  The washing monster has gotten way out of control over the weekend, maybe it’s something to do with trying to get the girls to tidy their bedrooms?!  Cripes!

And, I’m finishing up delivering AVON order’s for the last campaign!  If any of you are interested in getting your hot little hands on the next brochure, just flick me a comment below! :)

What are you up to on this fine Monday?  Join in on the fun here!

Aren’t the All Whites doing well… :D

Some markets just have “it” and some don’t.  Craft Revolution was small, but had the best feeling about it.  Everyone was super friendly, the building was an awesome choice and the market was run superbly.  Stallholders were even given little Whittakers Sante bars as we arrived!  SUPERB!

It was great going with a friend (Hi Deb!) and I met some crafty new people (Hi Lianne & Nicki – you can see them in the above photo oooops!).  Looking at that pic, I may just have to get the iron out before the next market – look at that tablecloth!!!  Eeek!

I took something new to the market, and if you follow my tweets and facebook pages you’ve seen a sneak peak of what it is…

New Coin Purses. Awesome!  Two sold on Saturday too!  It’s always great when a new idea is a goodie!!

Here they are in all their glory…

I just love the fabric – bought off Funky Fabrix in Aussie… :)

If you want to join in on the at my house meme, just head on over to the Buttons By LouLou blog… Always fun to have a little nose at what everyone else is up to on a Monday! :)

I’m off to create more wee coin purses – this time ones that will fit my money cards!  What are you up to today?

I’m preparing for a brand new craft market this week – Craft Revolution!

It’s going to be so much fun, I’m going with a friend (hi Deb Reid!) and it’s Queens Birthday Weekend.  So what better thing to do than Craft market, especially when you know you can blob out for two whole days afterwards!!!

So, if you’re free and live anywhere near Howick, come on down and visit – I’ll give you a 10% discount on anything if you tell me you saw it here!!! :D

Today, I’m putting my first ever order through as an AVON representative.

I’m thankful for all those lovely ladies who bought off me this catalogue and are supporting me in my new venture. :)

I’m also going through my wardrobe in preparation for a clothes swap I’m attending tomorrow!  I have some things in there that haven’t been worn in YEARS!!!  Now, that’s a sign I needed to do this, that’s for sure!

What are you up to this fine wet Monday morning?

I forgot to do this post last week, but today I’ve just made-over my pinboard.  It was ugly and very “office” looking – now it’s more my style!

I’m currently baking a birthday cake for my newly two digit daughter who is 10 today!

Because she is gluten and dairy free, this is a very special chocolate cake, recipe below:

Bree’s Chocolate Cake

125gm margarine (dairy-free)
2 rounded tablespoons golden syrup
2 eggs
2 cups gluten free flour (I use Healtheries Baking Mix)
2 Tbsp cocoa
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp mixed spice (optional – but gives the cake a kick in flavour!)
1 cup sugar
1 400ml tin of coconut cream

1. Put the margarine and golden syrup in a microwave dish and heat until the margarine has melted.  Stir to combine the two.

2. Put everything else in the food processor, with the eggs first and the coconut cream last.  Mix in brief bursts, then add the golden syrup and margarine mixture and process for two 30-second bursts, scraping down the sides of the food processor after each burst.

3. Bake in two 20cm round tins for 25 minutes at 180 degrees Celcius, or until the centre springs back and a skewer in the centre comes out clean.  Eat within 3 days.  I made this one in one large tin, so it will take a wee bit longer to cook…

What’s happening over at your house today?

I quite like playing along with these blog linky things!  If you want to play too, head on over to Buttons by LouLou…
