Just a couple of things to *toss-out this fine Tuesday morning!

* Toss-out doesn’t mean throw out – these items are going on the blessing table at my local craft group!  It’s all about getting rid of what’s cluttering up my house/life!

Today, I am tossing out 15 items – some old plastic scissors and punches from my scrapbooking day’s.  I no longer scrapbook or use them, and so OUT THEY GO!!!  Actually, I won’t be putting them in the bin or op-shopping them.  They are going to go on the “blessing table” at my local craft group.  Hopefully, someone else will make use of them. :)

Have you ever forgotten to take the lense cap off whilst taking a photo, and wondered why the photo came out BLACK, only to have it slowly dawn on you that, yes, you left that cap on!!!!

From what I’ve been reading out there in blog-land, I’m not the only one who feels stressed by clutter. I’ve been trying to figure out what to do about it and one idea is to have a regular toss-out day. One day that I choose ten things to get rid of. I can throw them in the bin if they’re of no use to anyone, or I can take the items down to a local op-shop to give away.

Today, I kind-of feel like I’m cheating because I’m tossing out all the stuff that was ruined in the flood we had in January. The insurance company has provided a skip and I’ve been riding the roller-coaster of removal. It’s going to be good to not have all this stuff smelling out my garage, but I’m reminded of all the stuff I no longer have. Hopefully, we get enough back from insurance to replace some of it.
